:: What is the technical platform used for the development of Visual Dolphin?
Visual Dolphin was developed using Microsoft Visual Basic and SQL Server, as a database. The software is built to support the latest Microsoft technologies. Visual Dolphin is compliant with the most recent Microsoft Windows platform.
Note that the license of Microsoft SQL Server is not part of Visual Dolphin. It should be acquired separately.

:: I am an old user of Dolphin. Is it possible to convert my data to Visual Dolphin?
Financial data, like the currencies, chart of accounts, journal transactions, cost centers... could be converted, provided there is no change in Visual Dolphin of the chart of accounts structure. Equivalent chart of accounts and budget cannot be converted. In the Inventory, all static data can be converted but not the transactions. We mean by static data, items definitions, price lists, warehouses, stock quantities...
We recommend that you contact Software Design to discuss your data conversion concerns. Although it is always technically feasible, an analysis of your current data will always determine the limits of conversion.
